Midwest Media Now is a show about Content Creation in the Midwest and the tools it takes to do it. Your host Sean McMenemy is gathering round tables and talking to content creators about the work they are doing in the Midwest. We’ll be talking about the ideas and the tools it takes to make them. So be a part of the show and lets talk about your production, podcast, or blog.

We have a group of people that meets regularly at Starbucks and once in a while we do a live show from there. Yeah a live show! One time we did a 3 camera shoot right there in the middle of Starbucks. All you really need is a computer, a mixing board and some mics. You can hear some of our shows here.

Check out what one of the co-creators of Space Hospital Rob Poe has to say about making a series on a shoestring and still making sure everyone has fun doing it. Space Hospital has found that balance of cheese, story, camp and fun. It’s a fine line to walk and not many people can do it. You can try to look good and not pull it off or not now how to make it campy and just make it look bad. Friday the 19th they kicked off their fund raising efforts to make a feature doc about making organic cheese in Ohio. When Todd visited the Nolan’s Family farm last year he thought it might be an interesting project.
